• Academic Background: Fiorella Gonzales is PhD in Biological Sciences with a minor in Ecology. She researches the spatial patterns of biodiversity from a macroecological perspective. She is interested in dry ecosystems such as deserts, coastal lomas, and tropical ecosystems. She also has experience evaluating Neotropical vertebrates, with emphasis on mammals and birds. She is currently pursuing a postdoctoral fellowship focused on the evaluation of macroecological patterns.

    • Gradate- Master’s degree in Environmental Auditing and Management from the National University of San Agustín, Peru (2017-2022).

    • Master in Biological Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile (2018-2019).

    • Biologist at the Faculty of Biological Sciences of the National University of San Agustín, Peru (2006-2014).

  • Teaching: Since 2023, she works teaching undergraduate courses related to Scientific Writing, Research Training, and Research Workshops. She has also taught the Ecology course in the Master’s program since 2025.
